Stable work must be a pleasure

Farming and leisure time do not have to be mutually exclusive – Sarah Hauer from Lambrechten (Ried im Innkreis, Austria) provides us with this proof in the short report about her farm. Together with her boyfriend Ralf, the young farmer runs a bull fattening farm with 72 animals and around 21 ha of arable land. The quality of the fodder plays an important role: from the harvesting to the presentation at the feeding table, Sarah and Ralf deal intensively with this topic. This is how the 4 m³ PROFI MIX feed mixing wagon and the MAMMUT shear grab came into play.

After taking over the farm, we quickly realised that we had to change something in the feeding. Everything was very cumbersome and cost a lot of time and manpower. The low ceiling height did not make it easy for us to find a suitable technology for our farm. With the MAMMUT feed mixer, we can drive into the barn and prepare an even ration because of the compact height. This has a good effect on the daily gains of the bulls and allows us to work smoothly.
