The Gollhammers’ family farm in Wildenau has been relying on feeding technology from MAMMUT for several years. Due to the increase in livestock, they invested in a PROFI MIX feed mixer with a volume of 4.5 m³. For Manfred, the detailed advice and customisations were extremely positive. With the installation of an overflow ring, a straw ring and additional cutting devices, the MAMMUT mixer was perfectly customised to the feeding requirements. The perfect mixing ratio is particularly important for calf fattening, especially for daily weight gain, but also for health. However, the use of the trailed MAMMUT PROFI MIX feed mixer not only improves feed quality, but also has a very positive effect on the workflow.
We have been relying on MAMMUT mixing technology for years. Our livestock numbers have increased, so we needed a larger feed mixer. By using the new trailed MAMMUT feed mixer with a volume of 4.5 m³, we were able to increase our daily weight gain. The targeted feeding enables us to ensure that the Rosé calves reach their ideal weight at 8 months and some of them from 7 months. In addition to the considerable reduction in workload, the detailed advice and the customisations made at the time of purchase were also crucial. Additional knives, a straw ring and an overflow ring ensure excellent mixing results.
