The Karer family’s Biringerhof farm in Höhnhart in the Innviertel region is a modern dairy farm with around 60 hectares of agricultural land. For the Karer family, high-quality forage is the basis for performance and animal health. That is why the farm attaches particular importance to good silage quality and clean feed removal. At the same time, the technology must function reliably and be easy to operate on a daily basis, as several generations work on the farm. For many years, the farm has therefore relied on silage technology from MAMMUT, which is characterised by its robust construction, precise operation and high practicality.
For me as a farm manager, it is important that a machine simply works in everyday use. It's not just one person who works with it on the farm – everyone has to be able to use it, from my father to the interns. That's exactly what I appreciate about our MAMMUT shear grab. It is easy to operate and moves smoothly through the silage. You can really tell that the machine is built for practical use.
