Using the feed pusher enables me to reduce substantially the amount of uneaten feed left at the end of each day. That translates directly into a cash saving for me. Profitability and animal welfare both benefit from this. The good mixture of feed prevents my cattle from being too selective. The feed is more homogeneous, my cattle eat more continuously and everything simply runs better.
