More power and effectiveness for the even distribution of silage

The silage spreader Silo Fox TITAN differs from the entry-level model CLASSIC in that it has a larger drum diameter and therefore has more material throughput during distribution. The higher net weight (approx. 1,100 kg with water filling) also increases the impact force in the trench silo. All models are available as rear-mounted units or front and rear models with reverse gear.

Accessories

Tip: Hydraulic pivoting device

Distributing the feed is made even easier with the hydraulic pivoting device. The pivot point close to the three-point attachment not only makes it possible to have a high lateral offset, but also allows the distributor to be swivelled away from the silo wall easily. In the case of the Silo Fox TITAN model, the pivoting device is already equipped with two cylinders. Here too, a locking block prevents jerky swivelling movements or unwanted swivelling in of the device. This also makes driving on the road safer.

Drum widening for Silo Fox TITAN

As with all other models, the Silo Fox TITAN drum can be widened. The widenings are available in 2 x 20 cm or 2 x 36 cm. This means that the silage distributor can be ideally adapted to different tractor or track widths.

Cam clutch to prevent damage caused by overloading

The Silo Fox TITAN is protected with a fully integrated overload protection (star ratchet) as standard. As an alternative to the star ratchet, the silage distributor can also be equipped with a cam clutch with even less wear for use on a contract basis.

For driving on the road: optional lighting kit

Travelling on the road with front attachments subjects you to a greater risk of accidents. In order to increase visibility on the road, the Silo Fox TITAN can be upgraded with an optional road lighting system. This equipment is particularly useful for inter-company use of the silage distributor. The driver of the vehicle is always responsible for complying with the relevant road traffic regulations. If the LED lighting set is additionally combined with the deflector plate package (also optional), the silage spreader can be converted for the distribution process in no time at all: Thanks to magnetic brackets, the lighting kit is easily attached to the machine and then refitted for road travel. This saves a lot of time during harvesting, especially for contractors.

When ensiling, the warning plates are simply mounted on the rear deflector plate (also an accessory).

In the course of the new SILO FOX model range, there is also a new accessory: the deflector plate set. This new additional equipment consists of vertical deflector plates at the rear of the machine and a foldable plate at the top of the headstock. Especially with long grass fibres, the deflector plates improve the distribution process by preventing a forage jam and keeping the tractor protected. On request, all models in the SILO FOX series can be equipped with the deflector plate package. Only MAMMUT’s largest distributor, the Silo Fox KOLOSS, is already equipped with it as standard.

Robust oil motor instead of PTO drive

For using the silage spreader on the wheel or telescopic loader, a factory-installed oil motor is available as an alternative to the classic PTO drive. A minimum output of approx. 100 litres/min is required to drive the hydraulic motor for the Silo Fox TITAN model.
