The Silo Fox CLASSIC is the ideal entry-level model for dairy farms, where the feed is delivered in small quantities by loading wagon with a metering roller. Due to its compact size, this model is perfect for smaller carrier vehicles and for use on your own farm. All models are available as a rear-mounted unit or a front and rear model with reverse gear.

Accessories

Hydraulic pivoting device

With the hydraulic pivoting device, the feed is evenly distributed right into the last corner of the bunker silo. The pivot point close to the three-point attachment not only makes a high lateral offset possible, but also allows the distributor to be swivelled away from the silo wall easily. In the case of the Silo Fox CLASSIC model, the pivoting device is equipped with a cylinder, and a locking block prevents the device from swivelling in unintentionally and therefore increases safety, e.g. when driving on the road.

Drum widening

Optional drum widening is possible for the Silo Fox CLASSIC model. These widenings are available in 2 x 20 cm or 2 x 30 cm. This means that the silage spreader can be ideally adapted to different tractor widths.

NEW: Deflector plate set for long-fibre forage

The deflector plate set is now available as an accessory for the SILO FOX series of silage distributors. This consists of vertical plates at the rear of the machine and a foldable plate at the top of the headstock. The tool makes the MAMMUT silage spreaders even more user-friendly and allows the forage to slide off effortlessly, preventing forage jams or soiling of the tractor. This option is particularly useful for loader wagon grass and long-fibre forage. The deflector plate package is available for all models. Only on the KOLOSS professional machine this set is already included in the standard equipment.

Robust oil motor instead of PTO drive

If a carrier vehicle with a PTO drive is not available, the machine can also be driven with a factory-installed oil motor without any problems. A minimum output of approx. 90 litres/min is required to drive the hydraulic motor for the Silo Fox CLASSIC model.
