The Type N shear bucket is the perfect extraction device for farmyard loaders or for relatively small front loaders. With its lightweight, compact design, the first-class cutting quality of the SILO BUCKET can also be employed on smaller carrier vehicles. In terms of convenience and speed and ease of movement, it is every bit as good as the larger models.

Attachment solutions for every carrier vehicle

The SILO BUCKET has a huge variety of attachment options for front loaders, farmyard loaders, wheel loaders and telehandlers. This means maximum flexibility because it is no longer necessary to perform time-consuming adjustment of the cutting bucket to the individual carrier vehicle. All attachments are bolted and are easy to replace, with no welding required. This also makes it very simple to continue using the SILO BUCKET, even when switching to a different carrier vehicle. Due to the compact size of machine in the N series, an attachment for a front loader or a farmyard loader is often ordered at the same time.

The hydraulic pusher - for setting down feed easily

With the hydraulic full pusher, the silo block can be set down conveniently. This accessory is perfectly suited to the filling of automatic livestock feeding systems or for laying in a stock of silage. This pusher can also be used for setting down a block of corn silage in an animal shed, or for loading the feed mixer where the loader does not have sufficient headroom for tipping. This enables the silo block to be pushed easily into the mixer carriage without the need to tip the bucket. If there are not enough double-action control units on the carrier vehicle, it is advisable to install a sequential shift valve (which can also be sourced from MAMMUT).

Ideal for loading from automatic livestock feeding systems: the hydraulic pusher.

With the full-size hydraulic pusher, the silage block is pushed conveniently right off the bottom of the bucket.

When removing silage from the feed silo, the pusher is perpendicular on the frame.

Additional valve equipment for the SILO BUCKET

In combination with a hydraulically activated accessory such as a hydraulic pusher, it is advisable to equip the shear buckets with hydraulic valves from MAMMUT. If the carrier vehicle does not have sufficient double-action functions, this is an easy way to remedy that issue.
