The stationary mixers can be individually adapted to suit any premises. This system is particularly popular in rearing, although smaller dairy farms or beef production farms, where vehicular entry into the buildings is restricted, are now also benefiting from the stationary feed mixers from MAMMUT.

The combination of stationary feed mixer and distribution trolley provides a cost-effective solution to fully-automated feeding systems for farms with low headroom in their animal sheds. The TMR station assures the effectiveness and rapid availability of individual mixes. The small DISTRIBUTOR mixer carriage with 1.5 m³ volume is ideally suited to driving into animal sheds with low headroom because of its low overall height. Electronic weighing system for precise rations

Many farmers get very involved in accurate calculation of feed rations to match the feed they provide ideally to livestock performance. To ensure that individual feed components genuinely are added in the right quantities, it is a good idea to have an electronic weighing system as an accessory. With the help of weighing rods, the weight can – depending on setting – be defined precisely to within 1.0 kilogram which assures uniform mix rotation and therefore homogeneous feeding of the herd. With the PROFI MIX models, you can choose between the simple BASIC adding scale and the PROFESSIONAL programmable scale. The PROFESSIONAL weighing system can store up to 24 recipes, each with 18 components and can be programmed by number of cattle or by total weight. As optional extras for this professional scale, other functions such as a modem app package or a light or horn signal is available to indicate when the target weight is reached. This means that the feed mixer can be matched perfectly to the individual requirements of each farm.

Electrical clearing

The STATIONARY Profi Mix feed mixer is equipped as standard with a mechanical slide opening. To design daily feed presentation as conveniently as possible, MAMMUT can provide an electric clearing system that can be ordered as an accessory for the feed mixer. The outlet is actuated very simply from the control panel on the switch box or there is also the option of remote control.

Feeding at the touch of a button

The optional remote control provides optimum working convenience. With this convenient type of operation, the mixer screw as well as the electrical clearing system can be operated easily at the touch of a button which means that the STATIONARY Profi Mix can be operated directly from the yard loader or tractor. The remote control unit for the MAMMUT stationary feed mixer helps you to simplify the daily feeding operation and to make your work easier.

Metal attachment for additional volume

In mix rotations with a high proportion of hay or straw and water-absorbent silage, it is advisable to fit the STATIONARY Profi Mix with an optional metal attachment. This increases the volume of the feed mixer on the PM 1.5 ST by 0.5 m³ and, on the PM 4.0 ST, by 1.0 m³. The levels for increasing metal content can be adapted to suit individual requirements, to suit the needs of each customer.

Magnets for the removal of foreign bodies

Often, metal components such as screws, strips of sheet metal or other metal objects can be found in the feed. If these foreign bodies are presented in the mix rotation accidentally and are consumed by an animal, this can lead to serious medical problems. With optional screw magnets for the STATIONARY Profi Mix, foreign bodies can be caught and filtered out of the ration very effectively. This consistently reduces the risk of injury to livestock. Depending on the size of mixer model, there may be one or two magnets on the vertical mixer screw.
