A manoeuvrable mixer for maximum convenience in feeding

For even greater flexibility in application, MAMMUT offers a self-propelled feed mixer with a volume of 2.5 m³ or a mobile distribution trolley with 1.5 m³ volume. With single-wheel steering and a steering lock angle of approx. 150 degrees, this slim-line mobile mixer is extremely manoeuvrable. The container on the self-propelled mixer is made of plastic (polyethylene HD) – this wear-resistant material not only assures a long service life but also reduces the net weight of the mixer. With its unique shape of screw and hopper, the mobile mixer is ideally suited for mixing calf TMR with fine-grained components. The SELF-PROPELLED Profi Mix is available either with a petrol engine or an electric motor.

PM 2.5 SFB

Type PM 2.5 SFB is powered by a 22 horsepower Honda engine and, with its highly manoeuvrable single-wheel steering and compact design, it is ideal for confined animal sheds. The BASIC electronic weighing system is integrated in the standard version of all self-propelled models. The compact mixing volume of 2.5 m³ provides good application options in calf rearing and for the rearing of bullocks.

Electric drive instead of petrol engine: On the PM 2.5 SF electric cable model, the feed mixer is powered by a 15 kW electric motor. The feed mixer is intended to be supplied with power by a trailing cable and it operates primarily in enclosed animal sheds quietly and without emissions.

On the PM 2.5 SF electric battery feed mixer, wheels and screw are powered by a 15 kW electric motor. A distinctive feature of this mixer is the use of lithium-ion batteries that make the self-propelled unit autonomous and flexible. The battery-powered mixer can deliver feed without exhaust and noise emissions.

D 1.5 SFB distribution trolley

The DISTRIBUTOR distribution trolley is a popular tool for clearing pre-mixed rations in animal sheds with low headroom . Combined with a stationary feed mixer, this creates a powerful feeding concept with adaptable technology – also for old buildings. This small distribution trolley is available with the standard BASIC weighing system and with a mechanical clearing function.

Accessories

Double-sided hydraulic clearing

In many animal sheds, the feed troughs are arranged closely in opposing lines. Double-sided clearing is often appropriate here. The two pushers are activated hydraulically using a keypad on the operating terminal of the mixer. The feed hatches can also be activated conveniently from the driver’s cab. As standard equipment, the SELF-PROPELLED Profi Mix is provided with individual mechanical clearing.

Rubber overrun kit as an extended option for the mixing hopper

The optional rubber attachment is available with a height of 10 cm or 20 cm and is used to protect the mixing hopper or the front loader shovel during the filling process. Another positive fringe benefit when installing a rubber overrun kit is that the drum is raised and the fill volume for dry and lightweight feed increases slightly.

Metal hopper for a more flexible range of applications

For filling with a wide loader shovel or with other large filling tools, a metal hopper can be mounted. This ensures that the individual feed components enter the mixing hoppers reliably and without any losses. Another field of application for the metal hopper is for example the mixing of light, short-fibre or dry components with a lot of volume, e.g. straw or hay for calves. With this accessory, the size of the hopper can be increased quickly and easily.

Reversing camera for greater safety

A reversing camera is available as an option for better oversight when driving around the farm or in the animal shed. The screen provides a good overview of the non-visible side of the vehicle and helps to prevent collisions. This makes work safer for the user as well as for any other people in the immediate area.

Screw magnets to protect from foreign bodies

It is never possible to prevent metallic foreign bodies from entering the feed entirely. To reduce the risk for livestock to an absolute minimum, MAMMUT has an ideal solution to offer here.

With optional screw magnets for the SELF-PROPELLED Profi Mix, it is possible to filter out foreign bodies such as screws, scrap metal or other sharp objects, which is of course ideal for the feed ration. This consistently reduces the risk of injury to livestock. On the PM 2.5 SF, there is a magnet on each of the two vertical mixer screws.

These magnets secure metal components in the feed securely and reduce the risk of injury.
